Famous For "The Way," "Dangerous Woman"
“Somethin’ ‘bout you makes me feel like a dangerous woman. Somethin’ ‘bout you, somethin’ ‘bout you,’ somethin’ ‘bout you makes me wanna do things that I shouldn’t…” Rising to fame on Broadway in the 2008 production of 13, Ariana Grande launched her music career in 2011 when she sang on the soundtrack of Music from Victorious but didn’t truly become a household name until 2013 when she released her first studio album, Yours Truly, which featured her first Billboard hit single, “The Way.” Often compared to a young Mariah Carey, Grande starred as Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon series Victorious and went on to release several hit singles and studio albums including My Everything and Dangerous Woman that skyrocketed her to international fame. Today, the 24-year-old has one of the best-selling voices in the industry and, apart from being ranked as one of the most influential women in the world, is a beauty icon who encourages her fans to be themselves through her lyrics and her own appearance. So, apart from her iconic ponytail that just seems to get higher, tighter, and bigger with each red carpet walk, concert, and premiere, what’s Grande’s beauty routine? Let’s find out!
|Lancer Skincare The Method Nourish Moisturizer ($125)||Lancer Skincare The Method Cleanser ($55)|
|Lancer Skincare Contour Firming Concentrate ($185)||Lancer Skincare Caviar Lime Acid Peel ($90)|
|Lancer Skincare Eye Contour Lifting Cream ($95)||Lancer Skincare Sheer Fluid Sun Shield SPF 30 ($55)|
|Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil ($48)|
Grande keeps her skincare routine simple and swears by Dr. Lancer’s products. “He’s a dermatologist in Los Angeles and his products are really, really great,” she says. “They make your skin so soft and so clean, and I use it every morning and every night. I try not to fall asleep with my makeup on ever, but I fail all the time, I think everybody does.”
Some of her favorite products from Dr. Lancer’s line include The Method Nourish Moisturizer ($125), The Method Cleanser ($55), the Contour Firming Concentrate ($185), the Caviar Lime Acid Peel ($90), the Eye Contour Lifting Cream ($95), and the Sheer Fluid Sun Shield SPF 30 ($55). Apart from Dr. Lancer’s products, she also loves Josie Maran’s 100% Argan Oil ($48) and good old-fashioned coconut oil, both of which add moisture to her daily skincare routine. In fact, the 24-year-old calls herself “a Half-Glamazon, Half-Granola Chick,” because she loves coconut oil on everything from her hair to her face and body! “I know it’s hard because we get tired, but scrubbing your face, washing your face and then moisturizing is so important,” she says about keeping her skin hydrated and healthy. “A lot of people think that putting a drying solution on your spots will dry it up but actually oil breaks down oil—so putting on a good lotion and just sticking to your routine is the only thing you can do.”

Grande credits her mother for inspiring her look as a beauty icon. “My mom always does a cat eye, too—a thick black line on top,” she says. “I remember being like, ‘I wanna look like a mix of my mom and Scary Spice.’ I remember saying those words when I was a little girl—that was the goal, when I was, like, 4…. My mom really is fly. She’s the baddest. My whole life, she’s always worn custom-made, black, tailored outfits. Black only—I’ve never seen her wear another color. And she adds a pop of color on her lip.”
Taking inspiration from her mother and developing her own sense of style, Grande’s look inspires her millions of fans as the 24-year-old artist tells her most loyal listeners, “Be yourself and don’t listen to any trends.” After all, marching to the beat of her own drum is exactly why so many people adore the one and only, Ariana Grande!
